TD Aeroplan Visa Card Updates – What’s Changing in Early 2027

Starting January 12, 2027, all four TD Aeroplan Visa cards will receive new redemption perks. On January 25, 2027, annual fees (and additional‑card fees) will increase for every card except the entry‑level Platinum.

New Perks Available to All Cardholders

Effective January 12, 2027, the following benefits apply to the primary cardholder on every TD Aeroplan Visa:

  • FLY15OFF: You need 15 % fewer Aeroplan points for the base fare of eligible Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Express flight rewards. Taxes, fees and surcharges are not discounted. Bookings must be made through aircanada.com, the Air Canada app, or the call centre while logged into your Aeroplan account.
  • 4th Night Free: When you book four consecutive nights with points at any of the more than 300,000 participating hotels, you only pay points for three nights. The booking must be made via the CX Loyalty website using points only; resort fees and local taxes remain payable at the hotel.
  • 4th Day Free: The same “four‑for‑the‑price‑of‑three” rule applies to car rentals of four or more consecutive days at over 11,000 locations. Fuel, insurance and local fees are still paid directly to the rental company.

Air Canada Flight Benefit – Higher‑Tier Cards Only

In addition to the universal perks, the three premium cards receive an annual Air Canada Flight Benefit credited to the primary cardholder’s AC Wallet:

  • TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite: $50 per year, issued as $25 on January 15 and $25 on July 15. Each credit expires six months after issuance and can be used only for new cash bookings of eligible Air Canada flights.
  • TD Aeroplan Visa Business: Identical to the Infinite – $50 per year paid as two $25 semi‑annual credits on the same schedule.
  • TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite Privilege: $100 per year, delivered as $25 on January 15, $25 on July 15, $25 on October 15 and $25 on April 15 (or equivalent semi‑annual $50 credits, depending on TD’s implementation). The same usage rules apply as for the Infinite and Business cards.

Additional cardholders do not receive the Flight Benefit on any of the cards.

Fee Adjustments Effective January 25, 2027

The table below summarizes the annual fee and additional‑card fee changes. Existing cardholders will pay the new fee at their first annual fee date on or after January 25, 2027. TD will mail formal notice 30 to 60 days before the changes take effect.
