MoneyMagpie is offering readers the chance to win a one‑night coolcation for two at the Holiday Inn Edinburgh. The prize includes accommodation, a three‑course dinner with a bottle of house wine to share, and breakfast.
Prize Details
The winning stay is situated next to Edinburgh Zoo and offers views of the Pentland Hills. Guests can explore the zoo, wander the historic Old Town, or enjoy the hotel’s indoor swimming pool, sauna, restaurant, lounge bar and on‑site Starbucks. Complimentary Wi‑Fi is provided, and the hotel offers easy access to both the city centre and the airport.
How to Enter
To enter the competition, simply answer the question posed in the promotional post. Only one entry per person is allowed; multiple entries using different email addresses will be void and may lead to disqualification.
Important Dates and Rules
The competition closes on Wednesday 4 November 2026 at midnight. The winner will be announced on the MoneyMagpie competition winners page. The prize must be taken, subject to availability, within six months of the closing date and cannot be used during bank holidays, event periods or other blackout dates.
Terms and Conditions
The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom mainland who are aged 18 years or older; no purchase is required. The prize is non‑transferable and there is no cash alternative. Travel expenses are not covered. The dinner element includes a starter, main and dessert for each guest, plus one bottle of house wine to share.
The prize is supplied by LGH Hotel Management and Holiday Inn. Employees of MoneyMagpie, LGH Hotel Management, Holiday Inn, their agents or related third parties directly involved in administering the competition are not eligible to enter.
The winner will be selected at random by an independent judge and notified via email or telephone. The judge’s decision is final. Upon notification, the winner must provide their full postal address and contact number so the prize details can be arranged. By entering, participants consent to being contacted by the promoter and the prize provider, and agree to the use of their name and image in any competition‑related material.
If the promoter cannot contact the winner within five working days using the details supplied at entry, or if the winner fails to return their postal address within ten days of notification, a new winner will be drawn.
